Chelsea are on red alert after Daniel Alves declared he's ready to quit Sevilla this summer.

The 24-year-old, who recently won the Copa America with Brazil, has a contract with the UEFA Cup champions until 2012. But with AC Milan, Chelsea and Arsenal said to be interested in the defender, Alves has revealed he could be ready to cut ties with the Primera Liga side.

"I have been at Sevilla for five years and I want to improve." he told Arena SporTV.

"I want to play in a big team and I think you have to make the most of the opportunities you have in life.

"Thank God I have won a lot of things since I came to Sevilla, but I think this is the right moment to move a step forward in my career.

"I feel that this is the moment for furthering my career in another place."
