Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery could still make the move to England this summer.
France Football says while Real Madrid are favourites for the France winger, Manchester United and Chelsea remain in the frame.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has tabled a £40 million offer for Ribery, while United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has the spending power to replace Cristiano Ronaldo with the Frenchman.
