Chelsea have stolen a march on Manchester United and Liverpool in their battle for Barcelona's Alcantara brothers, Thiago and Rafa.

El Mundo Deportivo says Juan Cruz Sol met with the brothers' Dad, former Brazil World Cup winner Mazinho, in Madrid this week to discuss his sons' availability.

Liverpool and United are also keen, but Chelsea - through Sol - have made a first major push for the pair.
