Chelsea have a deal locked away for Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao.Punto Pelota says an agreement between all three parties has existed since December and will include Thibaut Courtois remaining in Madrid.
The Chelsea goalkeeper is in his second season on-loan with Atletico and the two clubs are now negotiating over whether next season will be a similar arrangement or a permanent deal.
Falcao was hoping for a counter offer from Real Madrid in the New Year, but it's understood president Florentino Perez was reluctant to go back on their 'non-aggression pact', which also saw Sergio Aguero slip through their hands to join Manchester City two years ago.
