Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has actively discussed the prospect of bidding for Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo this summer. Abramovich is planning to go to "another level" in investing in Chelsea as the Russian billionaire attempts to turn the club's first Champions League trophy into a further "three or four" triumphs, says the Telegraph.
Chelsea have considered a move for Real Madrid's Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuaín, although a joint bid would appear highly unlikely.
