Chelsea striker Fernando Torres hopes he's given a new chance by Roberto di Matteo next season.
Torres feels the fact that Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has 100 per cent confidence in him helped inspire his two-goal burst against the Republic of Ireland.
Now Torres, who famously claimed he felt unloved by Andre Villas-Boas, suggested Chelsea's new permanent boss might want to do likewise.
Before tonight's clash with Croatia he said: "Am I back to my best? Ever since I moved to Chelsea I am asked this question. I moved to Chelsea ... and when I joined the national team I had the confidence of the coach.
"I am happy in the national team, playing with confidence. I was happy to have the confidence of the coach. Hopefully after the Euros everything is going to be better."
