Chelsea midfielder Oscar admits Juan Mata's departure for Manchester United has forced him to improve his goalscoring.

Oscar has thrived since Mata's departure and has netted eight league goals for the Blues this campaign with only Eden Hazard scoring more.

"I have been trying to score more and it has helped that Mata has gone," he told Sky Sports.

"I'm just trying to develop my game and I want to continue improving.

"For me it doesn't matter if I don't score as long as we win."
