Chelsea winger Juan Mata admits his debut in the Premier League has stayed with him - courtesy of Sunderland defender Phil Bardsley.
Mata has not forgotten his welcome to England in September after his £24 million summer move.
"It was my second match here," he said. "A Sunderland player trod on my back when I was on the floor after a foul. I was shocked.
"Here, the referees let the game flow more. There are a lot of incidents that in Spain would be a clear free-kick."
