Chelsea ace Frank Lampard admits he's looking forward to the Ashes cricket series between England and Australia.
Lamps was a handy cricketer back in the day and is good friends with Kevin Pietersen.
He told chelseafc.com: "I played cricket from the age of 11 to 15 as a batsman, and I really enjoyed it but it was a lot of commitment, so being professional wasn't ever going to be an option as I wanted to be a footballer.
"I still watch England games when I can, and since meeting him a few years back I've become good mates with Kevin Pietersen. He's been to Cobham and a few games at Stamford Bridge, and he's a member of the Chelsea Club too. He's been doing rehab work recently and I hope he can be fit for the Ashes in the summer."
