Chelsea ace Frank Lampard is set to lead England tomorrow night against Italy.

The Chelsea midfielder's thigh injury ruled him out of Euro 2012 and it was not clear if Roy Hodgson would pick a man who will be 36 at the World Cup.

But Lamps will be one of the senior players travelling to Berne today as Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney and John Terry are rested.
