Chelsea ace Eden Hazard has spoken of the sacking of Jose Mourinho last season.

Many blame Hazard for the new Manchester United manager's dismissal after the Belgian's dismal campaign.

But Hazard told L'Equipe: "The fact that I am responsible for the departure of Mourinho? People can say what they want.

'It was during a period when I was not good. But in my heart, I never wanted Mourinho to leave. I was behind him.

"We experienced beautiful things together."
