Chelsea ace Eden Hazard has jumped to the defence of Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku is being hammered for his performance in Saturday's 0-0 draw at Liverpool.

But Hazard, speaking with Vier, is confident his Belgium teammate won't let the criticism get to him.

"People are always very critical if he misses a chance, but he just keeps doing his thing," said Hazard. "At Manchester United and now also at the national team."

Hazard also spoke of how proud he and brother Thorgan Hazard were of both scoring for Belgium against Cyprus.

"It is indeed rare that two brothers score for the national team. First there were the Mpenza brothers and now it's the Hazards.

"A dream week for Thorgan, for me and the whole family."
