Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is delighted to beat his personal record of 17 assists in a single season.

Fabregas' current season tally of 18 assists is his personal best and just two less than the all-time Premier League record, set by Arsenal great Thierry Henry.

Of his tally, Fabregas told Spanish radio station Cope: "I told [Eden] Hazard I'll pass you the ball, and you shoot every time [against Liverpool].

"In any case, I'm happy to have beaten my personal record of 17."
