Chelsea ace Cesc Fabregas can see Philippe Coutinho leaving Liverpool for Barcelona.

Barca made three bids for the Brazil international but Liverpool stood firm and kept hold of their key man.

However, former Nou Camp ace Fabregas has backed Coutinho to join Barca.

When asked about the Liverpool talisman, Fabregas told TV3: “I think he's a great player.

“I see Barca's style, the truth is that it has the level... From where I see it, he is more comfortable inside, but the good thing about this player is that he can play in various positions.

“Being versatile is also important."
