Romania striker Ciprian Marica has dropped a big hint he's in talks with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger. The talented forward is a free agent after coming off contract at Schalke over the summer and his agent Iaon Becali has confirmed contact with the Gunners in the past week.
Asked about his situation, Marica declared: "It is unfair to say about me that I just want more money.
"I'm just looking for the best option for me. You won't catch me in the winter break without a new team."
And quizzed about Arsenal's interest, Marica smiled: "Well, you do know that Wenger speaks German."
Marica is now fluent in German thanks to his time in the Bundesliga.
