Manchester City have moved to trump Manchester United for Brazilian teen Fernando.
The Sunday Mirror says City have offered trials to the 15 year-old after spotting him in the Nike Cup - United's own youth tournament!
Fernando was one of the competition's stand-out players as he helped Internacional reach the quarter-finals, where they were beaten 3-2 by eventual winners Barcelona.
News of City's interest will come as a blow to United, who had developed an interest in the precocious attacking talent after spotting him first.
The tournament was at United's Carrington training base.
