Cheeky Anzhi have not only held talks with Inter Milan for Samuel Eto'o. While deal with the Russians over Eto'o's transfer is expected to be struck today, Anzhi have also asked after his new teammate, Luc Castaignos.
La Repubblica says during negotiations with Inter chief Marco Branca on the weekend, Anzhi also asked about the situation of Castaignos, who has only moved to the Italians this summer.
Branca gave the enquiry short shrift, but now knows Anzhi are on the Dutchman's case leading into the new season.
