Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gave Belgium youth international Charni Ekangamene a reserves debut.
The young defender, 16, arrived last year from United's satellite club Royal Antwerp.
Ekangamene was a second-half substitute in last night's 1-0 defeat by Wigan Athletic.
