Newcastle United winger Yoan Gouffran is attracting loan interest.

The Evening Chronicle says Charlton Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers are among a clutch of Championship clubs showing interest in forgotten man Gouffran.

United are keen to find extra room in their squad for potential arrivals and that means that they will need to negotiate moves away for players who they initially made available over the summer.

United met last week to talk transfers and Steve McClaren wants more time to decide where additions are required.
