Charlton boss Chris Powell is keen to get Tottenham forward Jonathan Obika back at The Valley following a successful loan spell last term, reports talkSPORT. The 22-year-old, who is yet to start a senior match for Spurs, scored three times in 10 Championship matches in south London last season and Powell says he has asked the Premier League side to loan him out again.

He told Charlton's official website: "I have got to be careful because he is not our player.

"He made an impression on everyone and it is no secret that we did like him and we liked what he did last season. We have put a phone call in, but as with most things it does take time. Who knows? We may get him in a red shirt again. That would be great."
