Charlton Athletic expect to rake in £800,000 for junior prospect Kasey Palmer from Chelsea.

The Daily Mail says the financial package struck between the two sides is loaded with various add-ons dependent on how Palmer performs with the Blues.

It is understood Charlton are guaranteed at least £200,000 for the young forward, but that could increase to as much as £800,000 should Palmer activate the clauses.

The 16-year-old, who will go straight into the Chelsea's academy, made his debut for the Blues on Saturday, featuring in the Under 18's defeat to Manchester United.
