Manchester United legend and director Sir Bobby Charlton doesn't believe Jose Mourinho is the right man to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson.

He told the Observer: "I would hate for anyone to take this the wrong way, but I don't see him here. Who am I to say? He's got a talent. Maybe if he ever came here the philosophy of youth football might never be the same again.

"I wouldn't be doing my job as a director right if I didn't sometimes wonder what will happen when Alex is gone, but I've decided I can't see it ever changing. It'll be a while yet."
