Charlton Athletic are monitoring Alan Curbishley's situation at West Ham United.
The News of the World says a high-ranking board member has told Curbishley he would be 'welcomed back' at The Valley.
Current boss Alan Pardew's position is being reviewed as Charlton fight for a Championship play-off spot.
The board are upset that the team, relegated from the Premier League last season, are struggling to bounce straight back to the top flight
Curbishley, who spent 15 seasons in charge of the Addicks, continues to be highly thought of by their chairman Richard Murray.
