Charlton boss Chris Powell has played down speculation linking him with moves for Hogan Ephraim of QPR, Colchester’s Anthony Wordsworth and Alan Judge of Notts County.

Charlton boss Chris Powell has played down speculation linking him with moves for Hogan Ephraim of QPR, Colchester’s Anthony Wordsworth and Alan Judge of Notts County.

QPR winger Ephraim had a spell on loan at The Valley last season.

But he said: "We are always going to be linked with Hogan. Wordsworth we seem to be linked with all the time. He's a player we came across last season, but I haven't seen him this year.

"Judge is a story drummed up that came up over the weekend, but I haven't spoken to anyone at Notts County about bringing him here.

"So it's fact or fiction time and it's going to be like that for the next week. I suppose it will only be fact once I welcome a new signing through the door."
