Charlton Athletic boss Chris Powell has no doubts about signing former Manchester United and Hearts midfielder Michael Stewart.
The Scotland international had been a free agent after leaving Turkish side Genclerbirligi and Powell is happy to have secured Stewart on a short-term basis.
"He's signed until the end of the season," Powell told the club's official website.
"I just felt that, with him being unattached, it was an attractive deal in itself.
"He's come to bolster the squad. He's a bit of everything. Jose [Semedo] has played every game and we don't have another player of that ilk.
"I felt we needed that sort of strong midfielder in there and he comes into that category."
