Charlton Athletic's ticket prices are actually more expensive than the equivalent at Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
The London Evening Standard says the cheapest season ticket at League One side Charlton Athletic costs over £60 more than a similar ticket at Spanish giants Barcelona, a BBC study has revealed.
Charlton's £175 season ticket is the cheapest of any London club in the Football League yet supporters of the League One side could be paying more for their seat than fans at the Camp Nou or Allianz Arena.
BBC Sport's Price of Football study revealed that the most expensive season tickets in English football were for four London clubs – Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and West Ham – and the former's £2,013 ticket was priced as the second most expensive in Europe, behind only Paris St Germain.
Whilst giants like Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Barcelona may charge a sizeable sum for the top tickets in the ground all three provide cheaper season tickets for under £250. Of London's clubs only League One sides Charlton and Leyton Orient charge a similar rate.
