Liverpool ace Charlie Adam admits last summer's preseason tour to Asia has stayed with him.

The Reds have fantastic backing in that part of the world as has been emphasised throughout hugely successful and extremely well-supported pre-season tours to the Far East in recent years.

"When you come to the club, you realise that it's a big club but when we went to the Far East tour last summer it was just incredible," insisted Adam to liverpoolfc.tv. "The turn-out for the games and the training was just unbelievable and that just shows the type of club you are at.

"The fans were camped outside the hotel for the whole night and it was just incredible but when you come to a club like this you've just got to expect it because we've got some of the best players in the world in our dressing room.

"And everybody wants a piece of them, so that just shows how much this club is respected not just in Britain but around the world and it's an honour to be able to play for them."
