Bristol City have dumped Stoke City out of the Carabao Cup after a stunning 2-0 victory over the Premier League side on Tuesday night.

The Robins went ahead shortly after the break through Famara Diedhiou after he nodded home Matt Taylor's shot that cannoned off the post.

The pair then linked up again for the second goal ten minutes later, with Taylor running onto Diedhiou's flick-on and firing low past Lee Grant.

Grant was impressive and he prevented the scoreline from becoming embarrassing for the Potters as City surged on after taking the lead.
