Wednesday night saw the group stage of the UEFA Champions League wrapped up for season 2016/17.
In Group E, AS Monaco held onto top spot despite losing 3-0 at Bayer Leverkusen with the Germans landing second spot, just a point behind the French.
Tottenham Hotspur endured a disappointing group stage but finished it off with a come-from-behind 3-1 win over CSKA Moscow to qualify for the Europa League.
Group F had Borussia Dortmund remaining on top of Real Madrid after scoring twice to force a 2-2 draw having been 2-0 down.
Second-half goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marco Reus essentially cancelled out Karim Benzema's brace to give Dortmund a first-placed finish and a recd-breaking group stage in the process as they became the first team to score more than 20 goals (21) during the initial phase of the competition.
The remaining spots went to Legia Warsaw (3rd) and Sporting CP (4th) after the Polish side edged the Portuguese outfit 1-0.
Group G had already been decided before Wednesday night which prompted Claudio Ranieri to send out a weakened Leicester City XI at FC Porto.
Nuno Espirito Santo's Dragons took advantage of the lessened Foxes' personnel by putting a handful of goals past the reigning Premier League champions to win 5-0, but it don't not change the group standings, as Leicester finished top in their debut European campaign, two points ahead of Porto.
FC Copenhagen were clearly third courtesy of their 2-0 victory over Club Brugge in Belgium and will now compete in Europe's second tier.
And in Group H, Juventus ended up on top after beating Dinamo Zagreb 2-0 in Turin thanks to goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani.
Sevilla claimed second position following their 0-0 draw with Olympique Lyon in France.
The draw for the Champions League Round of 16 takes place on Monday with the first legs to take place on 14, 15, 21 and 22 February, and the second legs will be played on 7, 8, 14 and 15 March 2017.
The Europa League Round of 32 draw will also occur on Monday, with the first legs to be played on 16 February, and the second legs on 23 February 2017.
