CHAMPIONS LEAGUE - FINAL: Barcelona complete treble with triumph over Juventus

Barcelona have clinched the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League with victory over Juventus in Berlin.

Luis Enrique's Blaugrana completed a rare treble courtesy of a 3-1 triumph over Massimiliano Allegri's Bianconeri who fought gallantly but to no avail at the Olympiastadion.

Ivan Rakitic scored an early goal for the now five-time European champions before Alvaro Morata levelled for Juventus 10 minutes into the second half.

Luis Suarez slotted home with just over 20 minutes left before Neymar finished emphatically in injury-time to confirm the win.

It was the third Champions League win in the past seven seasons for Barcelona who add the European cup to their La Liga and Copa del Rey titles in Enrique's first season in charge.

The opening goal came inside four minutes after Lionel Messi's radar had pinpointed Neymar on the left side of the area. The Brazilian took a neat first tough before playing in an advancing Andres Iniesta who it back perfectly for Rakitic to sweep home with his left foot.

Gianluigi Buffon was soon called upon to make a fine save to deny Dani Alves in the 10th minute which really would have had Barcelona in the driver's seat.

In the 55th minute, the Old Lady of Turin were back in touch when Morata slipped the ball beyond Marc-Andre ter Stegen. The goal came after a brilliant backheel from Claudio Marchisio who found Stephan Lichtsteiner on the right, with Carlo Tevez's ensuing effort only parried into the path of former Real Madrid striker Morata.

Barca then edged ahead in the 68th minute when Messi's well-struck effort was kept out by Buffon but well fell nicely for Suarez to side foot home from close range.

The Catalan giants thought they had wrapped it a few moments later when Neymar headed home but the goal was disallowed as the ball struck the hand of the Brazilian before trickling its way past Buffon.

Nevertheless, Barcelona managed a deserved third goal through Neymar who fired home on his left foot after being found fittingly by Xavi who had come off the bench to make his final appearance for the club.

The goal made it 122 between Neymar, Suarez and Messi in what was a stunning season by the world-class attacking trio.

Barcelona stuck true to their motto, 'More than a club', by lifting yet another trophy with the departing Xavi taking the match ball and holding the piece of silverware first before sharing it with his jubilant teammates.
