CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Chelsea held by Dynamo Kyiv in Ukraine

Dynamo Kyiv have remained undefeated in their opening three Champions League by forcing a 0-0 draw with Chelsea in Ukraine on Tuesday night.

Jose Mourinho's Blues were unlucky on two occasions when Eden Hazard and Willian both struck the woodwork but were ultimately unable to land a win over Sergei Rebrov's men at the Olympic Stadium.

Chelsea were on the back of a 2-1 defeat at Porto last time out in Europe and would have been content to come away with a point as they look ahead to hosting Dynamo at Stamford Bridge on November 4.

There were a number of chances for the visitors with Hazard striking the upright early before Nemanja Matic had beaten off three markers before firing wide and Willian striking the bar with a free-kick.

Andriy Yarmolenko, who has recently been linked with Chelsea, was impressive for the home team but was unable to inspire them to score as Asmir Begovic was on hand to deny Derlis Gonzalez who had been set up by the Ukraine international.

In the end, neither side were composed enough to find a winner as the Blues remained third on the Group G table with four points form their three outings while Kyiv find themselves second with five points, two in arrears of leaders Porto. Maccabi Tel Aviv are yet to register a point, or a goal, after they were beaten 2-0 in Portugal.
