Real Salt Lake defender Nat Borchers believes the upcoming CONCACAF Champions League competition is a great opportunity for the club.

The 2009 MLS Cup winners take on Panamanian outfit Arabe Unido on Wednesday night and Borchers is excited ahead of kick-off.

"It's huge," he told the Salt Lake Tribune. "It's a really good chance to represent America and Major League Soccer, and from an individual standpoint, to challenge yourself against the best teams in the region. So it's very high on our scale."

Real Salt Lake were drawn in Group A of the competition and apart from Arabe, will take on Mexico's Cruz Azul and MLS rivals Toronto FC.
