Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh is waiting for a call from Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
The Mail on Sunday says Chamakh is ready to come London as the replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor.
Bordeaux must sell the Morocco international in January with his deal expiring in June.
