Marouane Chamakh has thanked Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock over the handling of his injury recovery.
Chamakh came on as a substitute in last weekend's 2-0 win against Leicester after a month on the sidelines with a hamstring injury and could start in Saturday's Premier League clash at Hull.
"I did not want to take any risks because last year I had the same injury and when I came back, I was out again for two weeks," he said.
"I have worked really hard this month so I was happy to come back on Saturday."
