Nacer Chadli is happy he chose to stay with Tottenham this summer.
Chadli was up for sale earlier this summer after a disappointing debut season following his £7m move from FC Twente.
However, he now looks set to form a key part of the future under Argentine Pochettino, who is targeting a top-four spot.
Chadli said: "I am very pleased. I am happy. Everybody is happy. Players have been given a chance and showed what they can do. I think we are now more confident and we showed that against QPR.
"We made it easier for ourselves by scoring early on, but we then created a lot of chances and kept the pressure on.
"I came back from the World Cup and nobody said I could leave. I didn't have the best time last season, but I didn't want to leave like that.
"I would rather have taken my chances, stayed here and shown people what I can do. I didn't show people what I can do last season."
