Cesena coach Massimo Ficcadenti is full of pride with his club top of the Serie A table.
The Cavallucci Marini hadn't been in the top flight since 1990-91, but have beaten Milan and Lecce with a 0-0 draw at Roma, not conceding a single goal.
"We built this leadership with the perfect game," said Ficcadenti.
"Lecce started strong and we allowed them a few too many chances, but the game was always open.
"It was an unfair red card. I don't know if there was a foul on Gianni Munari, but either way it was Nagatomo who did it and not Colucci.
"The referee confirmed that the red card was for a double booking, so it must've been for that foul.
"In any case, it was important to win this head-to-head among relegation candidates against a Lecce side in good shape.
"The victory was built by the whole team."
Emanuele Giaccherini was again impressive and has been tipped for an Italy call.
"I do think Giaccherini can be a part of the Nazionale."
