Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has intimated he is ready to stay at Emirates.
The midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona after another impressive season at the Emirates Stadium.
Fabregas scored 15 goals last term as the Gunners finished third in the Premier League and reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League, where they lost to Barca.
New Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has confirmed that one of his top priorities is to sign the Spain international but it now looks like he could have a bit more work to do.
"I haven't said that I will definitely leave Arsenal," Fabregas told The Mirror.
"Everything is possible. Now I have my head and my focus on the World Cup. I am very proud to be captain of Arsenal and I love the club and have respect for them. It gave me much pride to be made captain."
