Cerny accepts Tottenham axing

Radek Cerny accepts he's out of Tottenham's starting XI for tomorrow's Carling Cup final against Chelsea.

Goalkeeper rival Paul Robinson made a number of good saves in his first game for seven weeks to help Spurs secure a 1-1 draw against Slavia Prague and win 3-2 on aggregate to reach the last 16 of the UEFA Cup.

"All players feel disappointed when they are left out and I am no different," said Cerny. "Football can be like this and I just have to accept it.

"Paul made lots of good saves. I don't know if I will play now, we will see. I would love to be out there but the most important thing is that Spurs win, and I will still get to be at Wembley for the first time."
