Alessio Cerci desperately needs Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini to come good over his interest in his signing.

The Fiorentina winger has been linked with City for much of the summer and the speculation has led to a rift with Viola fans.

Cerci has also fallen out with coach Sinisa Mihajlovic this week and is desperate to leave Florence.

City are locked in talks with Fiorentina over a fee for the midfielder.
