Energy firm Cepsa has extended its sponsorship of the Spanish national team for a further two years, reports SportsPro. The deal with the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) will see Cepsa continue to support the reigning world and European champions as a second-tier partner up until the defence of their world title at the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
Under the terms of the agreement, Cepsa are permitted to use images of La Roja for marketing purposes and official team products in promotions. The firm will also continue to receive hospitality and ticket allowances. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
In a statement, Cepsa said: "Cepsa believes that the Spanish national football team represents values with which the company is identified; values such as competitiveness, teamwork, dedication and tenacity.
"These values have enabled the Spanish team to achieve unprecedented success for a national football team, and also represent the values on which Cepsa bases its activities and which help the company to achieve its business objectives."
