Central Coast Mariners defender Trent Sainsbury is the latest A-League youngster to attract interest from clubs in Europe.
The 21-year old has emerged as a target for Premier League outfit Southampton, Swiss champions FC Basel, Championship club Bolton and Dutch side Roda JC.
Sainsbury becomes the latest Mariners talent to gain curiosity from clubs abroad after Tom Rogic signed with Scottish champions Celtic in January and goalkeeper Mat Ryan and striker Bernie Ibini-Isei gained attention from clubs in Belgium.
Another Aussie young gun, Terry Antonis, has already signed with Italian Serie A outfit Parma this week whilst Melbourne Victory ace Marco Rojas, who took out the Johnny Warren Medal on Monday, is a reported target for Liverpool and Juventus.
