Central Coast Mariners yesterday announced midfielder John Hutchinson has been loaned to sister club Chengdu Blades of the Chinese Super League until October 30, effective immediately.

Having played a strong shift in last night's historic 1-nil win against Glasgow Celtic at ANZ Stadium, Hutchinson has been granted permission by the Mariners to join teammate Adam Kwasnik, as well as former Mariners coach Lawrie McKinna in China.

Hutchinson will return to the Central Coast shortly after the commencement of the 2011/12 Hyundai A-League season.
