Central Coast Mariners have agreed a one-year extension with condiments brand Masterfoods, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The Mars Food Australia product will remain as the front-of-shirt sponsor for the Mariners' home shirt and the back-of-shirt sponsor of their away jerseys for the duration of the 2017/18 Hyundai A-League season.

It will be the sixth straight year that Masterfoods has assumed the sponsorship role with the New South Wales outfit. The financial terms of the renewal have not been revealed.

"The Central Coast Mariners cannot thank MasterFoods enough for their support - they have been our longest-serving and most significant corporate partner since day one," said Shaun Mielekamp, chief executive of the Central Coast Mariners.

"The MasterFoods brand has become synonymous with the Central Coast Mariners and this is something that we are very proud of.
