Central Coast Mariners young gun Mustafa Amini says he is not feeling any extra pressure stepping into the senior team.
The 17-year old has now notched up nine appearances for the Mariners after impressing in the youth team and is now a key member of the senior team which sits fourth in the A-League.
The Australia U20 international, with the orange 'afro' hair-do, has a happy-go-lucky attitude and it is that outlook which has helped him slot into Graham Arnold's line-up with such ease.
"I don't feel any pressure even though I'm young and playing first grade," he told Australia Football Weekly. "I pressure myself to play well and even though I know people are talking about me, I just go out there, have fun, and try to do well."
Amini, who was named the A-League's best Young Player for November, says he is determined to keep his feet on the ground and not get too carried away which his teammates have helped him with so far.
"It's all part of the game and it's always good to have people looking for you and have them like you," he added.
"The boys at the Coast make sure I stay grounded. We're always having a laugh and they've been really good to me."
