Central Coast Mariners are believed to be confident of completing an agreement with Premier League club Reading for young gun Tom Rogic.
Recent reports suggest that Mariners chairman Peter Turnbull believes the Royals will pay more than $500,000 for the 20-year old attacking midfielders services despite him signing his first professional contract only a year ago.
It is believed that personal terms have been agreed but Rogic is now weighing up the offer as he ponders whether or not to remain in the A-League to further his development.
There is also the issue of a work permit with Rogic only having represented the Australian national team on four occasions but Reading feel they would be successful in an appeal to the UK immigration authorities as they see him as an important inclusion to their squad.
