Celtic youngster Ki Sung-Yong has been named Asia's Young Player of the Year, reports the Scottish Sun. The £2m midfielder scooped the prize at the Asian Football Confederation Awards in Kuala Lumpur.
The FC Seoul ace, who will arrive at Parkhead in January, beat off Asia's top talent to land the prestigious award.
The 20 year old scored in the 2-0 win over Dubai that booked South Korea's place at next summer's World Cup.
That was his fourth strike in 18 games for his country and helped him scoop the prize.
