Celtic's Nakamura praised by Japan boss

The three-time Asian champions have won one and lost one of the two 2010 World Cup qualifiers so far and need a win against Oman on Monday.

Nakamura, previously busy with club commitments, pulled on the blue shirt for the first time in almost nine months during Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Paraguay.

Okada was impressed by the midfielder's performance.

"From the Celtic games I've seen, the opponents keep him away from the ball often," the coach said.

"I'm just impressed by his touch, his accuracy and ability to read the game."
