Celtic's want-away midfielder Jiri Jarosik has revealed that 'five or six' Premier League sides showed an interest in him during the summer transfer window.
"I was determined to leave. I agreed that with the management and the manager even though he wanted me to stay on," said Jarosik.
"Everything was heading towards me leaving. I had my things packed but eventually it did not turn out.
"A couple of good clubs showed interest, for example Middlesbrough and Manchester City. It was still possible on 31st August but then it collapsed.
"Portsmouth and Fulham [were also interested]. In total, five or six English clubs. Birmingham again contacted me too, but I did not want to return there.
"I also refused Dynamo Kiev and I now feel a bit sorry about it. I should have gone there."
