Joe Ledley would love to see Celtic teammate Victor Wanyama join former club Cardiff City.

Cardiff are now trailing Southampton in the race for the Kenyan.

Cardiff-born and bred ace Ledley - who spent six years as a Bluebirds idol himself - admitted to the Scottish Sun: "As a massive Cardiff fan, it would be a fantastic signing.

"I know everything about that club and it's a fantastic place to play.

"Cardiff are nowhere near as big as Celtic, but that's difficult for any club in the world.

"But it's the capital of Wales and they're getting recognised more now because they're in the English Premier League.

"I'm sure if Victor goes there he'll enjoy it.
