Celtic are keen to setup a swap deal with Birmingham City over their push for Aiden McGeady.
The Scottish Sun says Celtic want to bring Garry O'Connor back to Scotland - as part of the deal that takes McGeady to Birmingham.
The ex-Hibs striker has emerged as a key target for Hoops boss Tony Mowbray. And O'Connor could be picked up for a bargain fee in January while Celts rake in around £8million from Brum boss Alex McLeish for Irish ace McGeady.
O'Connor is out of contract in the summer and Mowbray is a massive admirer, having worked with O'Connor at Hibs before the hitman joined Lokomotiv Moscow.
